Beginners Course

Master the Basics With Confidence

A structured 4–6 week course that takes you from your very first step on the mat to comfortably joining regular classes — with no experience assumed at any point.

What You'll Learn

Everything a first-timer needs

Four weeks of fundamentals, taught in a room full of people in exactly the same position as you.

A genuinely safe environment

No live sparring in week one. Everything is drilled at controlled pace with a coach watching every pair, so you build good habits before intensity ever enters the room.

Small groups

Capped numbers mean real coaching attention and training partners at the same stage as you. Nobody is thrown in with a competition team on day one.

Positions and escapes

Guard, mount, side control and back — how to hold them, how to get out of them, and why each one matters. The vocabulary the rest of your training is built on.

Etiquette and culture

How to bow on, tap, choose a partner and look after the people you train with. The unwritten rules, written down and explained.
